The LF25CDT-TR  is a very low drop regulator available in TO-220, TO-220FP, DPAK, and PPAK packages and in a wide range of output voltage. The low drop voltage (0.45V) and low static current make it particularly suitable for low-noise, low-power applications, especially in battery-powered systems. Shutdown logic control function available in 5-pin configuration (PPAK) (pin 2,TTL compatible).

Block diagram

This means that when the device is used as a local voltage regulator, part of the board can be put on standby, thus reducing the total power consumption. In the three-terminal configuration, the device has the same electrical properties, but is fixed in the ON state. It requires only 2.2μF capacitance to maintain stability, saving board space and cost. The LFXX is available as an option for output voltage in automotive grade DPAK and PPAK packages, with its commercial part number displayed in the order code.

These devices are qualified in the temperature range from -40°C to 125°C according to the AEC-Q100 specification for the automotive market, and have been statistically tested by PAT, SYL, and SBL.
