Stmicro synchronous step-down controller has extremely high voltage conversion ratio

Technology Cover
Date de Parution: 2022-10-08, STMicroelectronics

The Stmicroelectronics 6 V to 75 V wide input voltage range L3751 Synchronous antihypertensive controller has an extreme voltage conversion ratio in the switching frequency range (100 kHz to 1 MHz), because the minimum lead time is 40 NSEC.

The diode simulation (DEM) realizes the maximum efficiency pulse skip mode under the negative load, giving controllable output voltage ripples. The forced PWM (FPWM) within the load range makes the switch frequency constant, which minimizes the output voltage ripple.

The Power Good Router Electric OEM is used to monitor the regulatory output voltage and helps the output voltage sorting of the digital IC during the off -power phase. The embedded door driver minimizes the number of external components and is designed for standard VTH MOSFET.

Embedded protection-output overcurrent, input voltage UVLO, internal voltage monitoring and thermal shutdown-telecommunications, telecommunications, network and industrial applications of key environments. The device uses a QFN 20 lead 3.5 mm × 4.5 mm packaging and has wet wing.
