Silicon Labs has expanded the Si5332 full-frequency clock portfolio with a new version that integrates the clock IC and quartz reference crystal in the same package, simplifying board layout and design. All-in-one solutions ensure reliable startup and operation throughout the product life cycle. The company will also introduce multi-profile support throughout the series, enabling developers to combine multiple clock tree configurations into a single part number.

The clock uses the company's mature MultiSynth technology to provide any frequency, arbitrary output clock synthesis with excellent jitter performance. Supports up to 12 clock outputs, each output clock has selectable signal formats (LVDS, LVPECL, HCSL, LVCMOS) and independent 1.8-3.3V VDDO. The product portfolio can be used with various FPGA, ASIC, Ethernet switches / PHY, processor, SoC interface and high-speed SerDes including PCIe. Together, these features allow the product portfolio to consolidate the entire clock tree into a single IC.
