STMicroelectronics' STPA003 four-bridge power amplifier is a MOSFET Class AB audio power device designed for high-power automotive radio applications. In addition to excellent output current capability and distortion performance, STPA003 also has a strong anti-misconnection capability. They comply with the latest OEM specifications for low voltage operation (for example, "start and stop" battery profiles during engine shutdown). They include a DC offset detector and a high-end driver or clip detector.
