ST's BlueNRG-MSCP is a low-power BLE single-mode network processor that complies with the Bluetooth specification v4.1. The device supports multiple roles simultaneously and works with Bluetooth Smart sensors and hub devices simultaneously.
It has significantly extended battery life and excellent coexistence in a crowded 2.4 GHz bandwidth. A single firmware supports master and slave roles. It can easily upgrade firmware in the field to maintain compatibility with future versions of the Bluetooth specification.
Typical application areas include watches, fitness, health and sports, consumer medical, security / proximity, remote control, home and industrial automation, assisted living, mobile phone peripherals and PC peripherals.
