A complete configurable solution using the STLUX385A digital controller STMicroelectronics STEVAL-ILL057V1 digital LED channel evaluation board to manage four independent high-brightness LED channels. STEVAL-ILL057V1 implements a reverse buck topology to drive each LED channel. The SMED technology integrated in STLUX385A uses the fixed off-time (FOT) principle to regulate the LED current. Each channel can produce an output current of 250mA to 1A. The number of LEDs, current and PWM dimming point can be set through the command interpreter, which can be accessed through the serial interface. You can also manually adjust the dimming through three built-in buttons.
