Maxim's MAX44206 180MHz, low noise, low distortion, fully differential op amp / analog converter driver is suitable for driving high speed, high resolution, 20 // 18- / 16-bit SAR ADCs, including the MAX11905 ADC family. The MAX44206 has a wide supply voltage range from 2.7V to 13.2V and a wide bandwidth of 400MHz, making it suitable for low-power, high-performance data acquisition systems. The MAX44206 has a VOCM input that regulates the output common-mode voltage without the need for a coupling transformer or AC-coupling capacitor. This adjustable output common-mode voltage allows the MAX44206 to match the input common-mode voltage range of the ADC that follows it. Shutdown mode consumes only 6.8μA and extends battery life in battery-powered applications or reduces the average power in a system that cycles between shutdown and regular data reading. The MAX44206 is available in an 8-pin μMAX package and is specified over the -40C to + 125C temperature range.
