Low-ohmic single-pole double-throw analog switch

Technology Cover
Date de Parution: 2023-03-24, NXP

NX3L1T53 is a low ohm single pole double throw analog switch for analog or digital 2:1 multiplexers. It has one digit select input (S), two separate inputs/outputs (Y0 and Y1), one common input/output (Z), and one active low enable input (E). When pin E is high, the switch is off.

The Schmitt trigger action at the digital input allows the circuit to tolerate slower input rise and fall times. A low threshold digital input allows the device to be driven by a 1.8V logic level in 3.3V applications without significantly increasing the ICC's power current. This allows the NX3L1T53 to switch 4.3V signals with a 1.8V digital controller, eliminating the need for logic level switching.

NX3L1T53 allows signals with amplitudes up to VCC to be transmitted from Z to Y0 or Y1; Or Y0 or Y1 to z. It's low ON resistance (0.5Ω) and flatness (0.13Ω) to ensure the minimum transmission signal attenuation and distortion.
