Hirose Electric's IT-P was developed to provide a high power solution for any mezzanine application. Together with Hirose's high-speed IT series, the IT-p provides a perfect solution for connecting power without having to use high-speed contacts. The two-piece version (40a) is used for shorter stack heights and the three-piece version (60a) is used for higher stack heights.
The high-current connector has a rating of up to 40a or 60a, suitable for installation with high-speed transmission mezzanine connectors IT3/IT5/IT8, and the floating structure can absorb installation errors within the range of ±0.3 mm in the XY direction, supporting multi-point contacts to allow High contact reliability with stacking heights ranging from 10mm to 66mm, and three-piece construction supports installation reliability and maneuverability
