GTK - New hinged MicroSD card connector and combined MicroSD / SIM connector

GTK has expanded its range of removable memory card connectors to include a new articulated MicroSD card connector and a combined MicroSD / SIM connector. The hinge connector is ideal for applications that can cause strong vibrations or shocks, as the sturdy hinge securely locks the card in place. The connector has SMT pins and is only 1.8mm high. This connector is typically used in mid-board applications that do not require regular card access, providing secure installation and the ability to forget the connection. The combined MicroSD / SIM card connector integrates the MicroSD card connector with a push ejector mechanism and a six-position SIM card connector into a connector housing. This stacked connector is ideal for applications where PCB space is at a premium and the total height is only 2.7mm. When used with a full-size adapter, the connector will accept all SIM card sizes. Micro SD cards are commonly used in portable devices such as phones, cameras, data loggers, navigation devices, and tablets.
