Fairchild's FSA2275 Hi-Fi audio switch is a high-performance double-pole double-throw (DPDT) switch with negative swing audio capability. It has an ultra-low audio RON of 0.5ohm (typical) at 2.5V VCC and operates from 2.5V to 5.5V VCC. It is manufactured using sub-micron CMOS technology for fast switching speeds. This equipment is designed for break-before-make operation. An external capacitor (C_EXT) can be used to select the on-ramp time to minimize bounces and clicks during operation. The FSA2275 has a THD + N specification and is designed to introduce high-fidelity audio quality into 32ohm headphones and line output loads (greater than 600ohm). Typical applications include mobile phones, tablets, laptops, media players, docking stations, televisions, set-top boxes and LCD monitors.
