The LT8580 is a PWM DC/DC converter containing an internal 1A, 65V switch. It comes in a miniature thermal enhanced 3mm x 3mm 8-pin DFN and 8-pin MSOP package. The LT8580 can be configured as a boost, SEPIC, or inverter converter.
Typical application
The LT8580 has a tunable oscillator set by a resistance from the RT pin to ground. Additionally, the LT8580 can be synchronized with an external clock. The switching frequency of the components can be freely run or synchronized, and can be set between 200kHz-1.5MHz. The LT8580 also features an innovative SHDN pin circuit that allows for slowly changing input signals and an adjustable undervoltage locking feature. Additional features such as frequency folding and soft boot integration.
