Zuolan Microelectronics releases TC-SAW duplexer Band20/26

publier sur juin 15, 2024

Recently, based on TC-SAW technology, Zuolan Microelectronics released high-performance, small-size Band26 and Band20 duplexers. The package size of the TC-SAW high-performance Band26/20 duplexer released this time is 1.6mm × 1.2mm, which is about 24% smaller than the 1814 package size, which can effectively reduce the board area. Its small size is more suitable for terminal customers who are becoming increasingly miniaturized in the 5G era, and provides more flexible solutions for application providers of various wireless communication systems.
The TC-SAW high-performance Band26 duplexer has excellent in-band and out-of-band performance, with a typical value of TX in-band insertion loss of only 1.4dB and a typical value of RX in-band insertion loss of 1.6dB (the typical values of TX and RX insertion loss of mainstream foreign manufacturers in this frequency band are generally 1.6dB and 1.8dB), and the typical values of isolation in the TX frequency band and RX frequency band are 59 and 56 respectively, and the double frequency suppression of TX reaches 45dB.
The typical insertion loss of the TC-SAW high-performance Band20 duplexer in the TX and RX bands is 1.7dB (equivalent to the typical insertion loss of mainstream foreign manufacturers in this frequency band), and the typical isolation in the TX frequency band and RX frequency band is 65dB and 56dB respectively, and the double frequency suppression of TX reaches 40dB.
In the past few decades, surface acoustic wave technology has achieved multiple iterations and breakthroughs, and its performance and application frequency have been continuously improved. With the increase of communication frequency bands, the frequency bands are getting closer and closer, which puts higher requirements on the temperature stability of the filter. Temperature compensated surface acoustic wave (TC-SAW) technology came into being.
In the global acoustic filter market, with the continuous deepening of the development of the 5G field, the demand for TC-SAW filters with high frequency-temperature stability has shown a trend of increasing year by year.
Compared with SAW filters, TC-SAW has a more complex manufacturing process and higher production cost, but compared with BAW filters, it has obvious cost-effectiveness advantages and has a larger market space. TC-SAW filters can be widely used in mobile phones, base stations, automotive electronics, smart homes, radars, satellites and other fields.
Although my country started late in the TC-SAW field and still lags behind foreign manufacturers in technology and production experience, domestic manufacturers are working hard to catch up and make plans. Zuolan Microelectronics, as one of them, has successfully passed the verification of key technical points related to TC-SAW filters.
In recent years, Zuolan Microelectronics has continuously surpassed itself through a large amount of investment in research and development and production capacity. The performance of many RF filters and duplexer products currently released has reached the world's first-class level.
In addition, Zuolan Microelectronics has been deeply engaged in the research and development of RF front-end devices for many years and has accumulated profound technical strength. In addition to the existing SAW, TC-SAW, PESAW, PEBAW and module products, it can also provide customized services according to the differentiated needs of customers. In the next stage, Zuolan Microelectronics will continue to improve its product line, covering mid-to-high-end RF filters and module solutions, and strive to achieve new breakthroughs.
